LONDON: Absolute Beginner’s Finnish Summer Course
Kesälläkö kieriskellään? Oppikirjoihinko uppoudutaan? To learn these incredibly easy and useful phrases, join Finn-Guild’s semi-intensive but intensively fun Finnish course from 14 June to 14 July 2016. During the five-week course you will learn to communicate in basic Finnish, and get to know the Finnish culture. The course is aimed at absolute beginners.
In this course you will learn about the Finnish language and culture with versatile methods through music, films and TV, as well as take the beginners’ steps into the Finnish grammar.
Learning’s emphasis is on the spoken language and interaction, so be prepared to be heard! Each lesson entails cultural facts, and of course, a lot of effective but fun grammar exercises. The main goal of this course is that you learn the ABC of basic Finnish and get a useful sneak peek into the Finnish culture.
The course is aimed at absolute beginners - no previous knowledge of Finnish is required.
The teacher of this course is Marjukka, a native Finn who is a language and drama teacher from Helsinki. With her effective teaching methods she will teach you an abundance of practical Finnish and guide you through the basics of the Finnish grammar.
