London: Second hand Book Sale at the Finnish Church
Anglo-Finnish Society and the Finnish Church in London will hold a second hand book sale for the whole family at the Finnish Church Sunday 8 October from 1pm onwards.
There are approximately 40 boxes of books on sale from Hannele and Michael Branch's and Erkki Arni's libraries: a wide variety of classic and modern Finnish literature, poems, and novels, rare old English books that have to do with Finland, important nonfiction books, as well as 400 Finnish Donald Duck -comics. In addition, Marjatta Bell's and Marjatta Hietala's new book Helsinki – Finland's Innovative Capital (2017 SKS) will be on sale.
Lunch will be available at the Church from 12am onwards as long as the salmon casserole and/or the vegetarian option lasts and coffee will be available the whole day.
